Dakari-Johnson-199x300Just a hour or so after Kentucky football and Mark Stoops received his third 4-star commitment since entering as the new head coach, UK basketball adds another. 2013 top center Dakari Johnson has committed to the Cats to add to a already loaded class.

Johnson and his #1 ranked Montverde(FL) team played a earlier game on ESPN2 against #12 Simeon(IL) who has future Blue Devil Jabari Parker where Johnson's team laid the wood to Parker's squad 82-53. During halftime of the second game, Johnson made his decision when he did picked UK over Georgetown and Syracuse.

Some infor on Johnson. Stands at 6'10, 250lbs and is a guy who likes to bang down low. Has a very strong and mature body for a high school senior, good hands and footwork. When it comes to rebounds, he is a guy that clears the glass with his size and with his addition to the Harrison Twins, James Young, Marcus Lee and Derek Willis, this will easily be the #1 ranked recruiting class with the potential of still adding the #1 player in the country.
