Day two of the biggest football recruiting weekend in UK history seems to be starting off right. Word broke around a hour ago that the Cats had received a commitment from offensive tackle Kyle Meadows! He is a 3-star OL out of West Chester, Ohio, standing at 6'5, 270lbs and was wanted by many top programs like Florida State, Louisville, West Virginia to name a few. The interesting thing is he was not recruited by Kentucky until the new staff entered the scene and it only took them a month to bring the talented kid to Lexington.

A few things we know about Meadows is that he is long and strong. A guy who can control defenders and has the mobility to become one of the top OL in the country. Recruiting analysts all say he has a SEC frame and his body seems to be willing to grow. He is a huge land for Stoops and staff, quite possibly their top priority for the O-Line.
