Cincinnati Reds Release 2013 Schedule

Yes, it is September 12th and the Cincinnati Reds are not only atop the National League Central, but sitting 10.5 games up over the St. Louis Cardinals they couldn't be more relaxed. Since there is this success, we have time to break away from the day-to-day grind and look at the 2013 schedule that was just released.
April 1st will be opening day where there Reds will host American League West power Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim to kick off the season inter-league style. This will be the first time during inter-league play that opposing leagues face off to begin the year. Also on the inter-league schedule will be Oakland, Houston who are now in the AL, in-state rival Cleveland, Seattle and Texas.
As for the Reds division, not much will change other than the exit of the Astros. Fans will see them take on the four Central teams 19 times a piece. The first series will be against the Cardinals in week two, with Pittsburgh coming to town to wrap up the year. But that is for 2013 as currently Cincinnati is dominating so get up to Great American Ball Park Reds fans to cheer on what could be a memorable season!!
