Charlie Strong and the Louisville coaching staff will have one of the biggest recruiting weekends of the year this weekend. There is a chance that the Cardinals will add to their 2013 class, as they try to take advantage of their new conference and their success.
Here are the visitors:
James Quick, WR, Trinity High School in Louisville, KY.
Quick is planning on making his decision during the Army All-American game in January. The 6'1" WR's recent list included Louisville (at the top), Ohio State, Kentucky and Oregon.
He is considered the 98th-best palyer in the 2013 class according to ESPN.com and the 10th-best wide receiver.
Kyle Meadows, OT, Lakota West High School in West Chester, Ohio
Meadows has an amazing offer list, he is a 3-star recruit who is considered the 68th-best tackle in the 2013 class by 247Sports.com. At 6'6" 280 lbs., Meadows is big enough to play in any conference.
Brett Nelson, QB, Southwestern Community College, Chula Vista, California
Nelson is a new one on Louisville's list. The 6'4" 220 lbs. pro-style quarterback received an offer from the Cards this week. Louisville already has Lexington Catholic QB Kyle Bolin for the 2013 class, but you can never have enough quality QB's with experience.
Richard Benjamin, CB/WR, Tamp Bay Tech, Tampla, Fla.
Benjamin announced he had committed to Louisville over the week after a visit with Louisville coaching staff. Charlie Strong wanted him to visit first before he committed, he will get his chance this weekend.
He is rated a four-star recruit and has offers from Alabama, Notre Dame, Florida St., Florida, Oklahoma and Miami.
Chandler Bridges, OT, Flowery Branch High School in Georgia.
Bridges is already committed to Louisville, but it is always good for commits to have more visits. At 6'4" and 270 pounds Bridges will bring a lot of size to the offensive tackle position next season.
