Downtown Louisville is not for just for UofL fanatics.  Louisville fans will have to share their prized real estate with Kentucky Basketball fans Thursday night as the Louisville Palace will host the final leg of the “Blue Sanity” tour.  The tour made its way throughout the state by visiting cities like Hopkinsville, Paducah and Richmond.

“The Sixth Man” is a documentary like no other.  It gives an amazing perspective on what makes the University of Kentucky, and the passion behind the program such a storied tradition.  It’s all about THE FANS.

The Palace doors open at 6:00pm for a VIP cocktail party, which will give access to the Producers and Directors of the acclaimed film.  There will also be an autograph session featuring former CATS Cameron Mills, Ravi Moss, Kenny Walker, Twany Beckham and Lukasz (Woo) Obrzut.  The doors open to the public at 6:30 for cocktail hour (cash bar) with the movie starting at 7:30pm.

You can purchase tickets in advance at LouisvillePalace.com for $10, or purchase tickets at the door for $15.  VIP passes are $70 and can be reserved by contacting Jim Denny at (502) 241-8888.   The purchase of the VIP passes entitles you to reserved seating for the feature presentation at The Palace.

A percentage of the proceeds in Louisville will go to fund the rehabilitation and costs associated with UK fan Dick Gregory’s accidental fall in Rupp Arena last month.

If the benefit is not enough, check out the trailer of the compelling documentary below:
