Former Louisville point guard Peyton Siva has agreed to terms with the Orlando Magic, according to Yahoo! Sports writer Marc Spears. Siva was released by the Detroit Pistons on July 15th.

Siva was drafted by the Detroit Pistons in the second-round of the 2013 draft after leading the Cardinals to a National Championship. The 6’0″ Siva played in 24 games his rookie season and averaged 2.3 points and 1.4 assists while playing just over nine minutes per game. Siva also spent some of his 1st year playing for the Fort Wayne Mad Ants in the NBA’s D-League.

The terms of contract has not been released.

It is great to see Siva get another chance, I know he will do his best to be an asset to the Magic.
